Hi, I’m Lloyd Hawkins. I am a Brighton & Hove based Personal Trainer. I started LH Training with a commitment and passion to help others reach their fitness goals. Not only does being healthy have obvious physical benefits but it also contributes hugely to our energy levels and our ability to carry out day-to-day tasks more efficiently.
My passion for health and fitness started in my early teens, when I took part in various sports. My main sport whilst growing up was swimming. I swam competitively to county and regional level and swimming also enabled me to compete abroad. I also captained my swimming club two years in a row prior to going to Loughborough University, where I continued swimming training to keep up my fitness level. One of my biggest sporting achievements was running the first Brighton Marathon in 2010, having never run a half marathon prior to that.
I have a degree in BSc Economics from Loughborough University. Following my studies, I worked in London and Brighton in the Corporate Restructuring sector, before deciding to follow my passion and start LH Training.
I am extremely client focused and my aim is to deliver outstanding results which are sustainable, whilst providing a client experience that is professional and enjoyable.
My goal is to make the atmosphere motivational, fun and friendly, with each session being different to the previous one. You will have my full support in every aspect whilst taking you through your personal training journey.
I keep my sessions engaging, energetic and positive. I love the feeling of making people feel better about themselves, seeing their confidence grow and creating life changing results.
My job as a personal trainer is to find out what works for you and also what doesn’t work, because everyone is different. My mission is to create an environment where you are not afraid to do things that are beyond your expectations and past what you thought were your physical limits.
I specialise in weight (body fat) loss and body transformations for my clients in Brighton & Hove. However, I love working with a varying clientele, from athletes to individuals that have never set food in a gym environment.
I am qualified as a Level 3 personal trainer and fitness instructor and I am Emergency First Aid qualified.
I'm a registered member of REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals) and hold full public liability insurance covering me and my clients.
